BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

SEPTEMBER 8, 2025, MINUTES

The meeting was called to order by Jay Wilson at 7 PM with directors: Dave Johnson, David Dethloff, Justin Phlaum and Garla Row.

Also attending were Chief Jerry Hampton and Bookkeeper Mary Lewis-Johnson. Members of the public in attendance, Bob Seymore.

Dave Johnson moved to accept the agenda. Jay Wilson seconded; motion passed.

Jay Wilson moved to accept the August meeting minutes, David Dethloff seconded; motion passed.

Mary presented the financial statement.

Jay moved to accept the financial statement and pay the bill, Dave seconded; motion was passed.

The Chief gave his report.

There was one wildland fire

There was one medical assist

There is 17K in AG West

3832 truck is going to be for sale.

Board member updates:

Dave Johnson gave an update on the progress of the repairs to the Cole St station for the AG West grant.

Chief Jerry Hampton said he was going to meet with the library about the shared back wall. (9/10/25)

Engine 3835 has a leak in the pump. There is a mechanic coming into fix.

Round Table:

SDO conference will be in February at Seaside.

Bob Seymore talked about the Secretary of State Report due at the end of

September.

Bob Seymore talked about the new bond requirement regulations.

Dave Johnson moved to have Bob move forward on the report. Dave Dethloff seconded; motion passed.
